Our Story
Every great business starts with a commitment to serving people well. Founded in 2010, Battery Source Supply was built on a simple philosophy: provide dependable batteries, exceptional service, and treat every customer like a valued partner. What began as a one-man operation quickly earned a reputation throughout Metro Atlanta for honest pricing, reliable deliveries, and going the extra mile for customers.
Over the next 15 years, Battery Source Supply grew into one of the area's trusted battery distributors by staying true to those values. From local repair shops and municipalities to commercial fleets and industrial customers, the company became known for having the right products, dependable inventory, and service customers could count on. During the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and global supply shortages, Battery Source Supply continued serving its customers by expanding its supplier network and maintaining access to quality products when many others could not.
In 2026, Battery Source Supply entered its next chapter when Doug Blanchard and Devin Guest purchased the business and rebranded it as Forged Battery Supply. While the name has changed, the values that built the company remain the same.

Doug Blanchard
Owner & Chief Financial Officer
Doug is the Owner and Chief Financial Officer of Forged Battery Supply, where he's focused on growing the business while staying true to the values that matter most: integrity, hard work, and taking exceptional care of every customer.
Before becoming a business owner, Doug served as a firefighter, where he learned the importance of teamwork, accountability, and serving others under pressure. Combined with his background in construction, real estate, and entrepreneurship, those experiences have shaped his hands-on approach to leadership and his commitment to doing things the right way.
Doug believes business is simple: treat people the right way, work hard, and always do what you say you're going to do. His goal is to build a company that's known not only for quality batteries and competitive pricing, but for earning the trust of every customer who walks through the door.
When He's Off the Clock...
If Doug isn't at the warehouse, you'll probably find him renovating a house, exploring one of Atlanta's unique neighborhoods, playing volleyball with friends, or planning his next adventure. He's passionate about historic homes, construction, and finding potential where others might overlook it.
Devin Guest
Owner & Chief Operating Officer
If you've spent any time around Forged Battery Supply, you've probably seen Devin in action. As Chief Operating Officer, he's the guy making sure things get done and done the right way.
With an extensive background in construction, Devin has built countless homes throughout his career and understands what it takes to create something that's built to last. That same mindset carries over into everything he does at Forged Battery Supply. He believes in working hard, doing the job right the first time, and taking care of every customer who walks through the door.
Devin works closely with our warehouse team, helping oversee daily operations, inventory, logistics, and making sure our customers receive the dependable service they've come to expect. Whether he's solving a problem, improving a process, or lending a hand in the warehouse, he's never afraid to roll up his sleeves and get to work.
More than anything, Devin leads by example. His work ethic, commitment to excellence, and passion for serving customers help set the standard for our entire team.
Outside of work, Devin is a proud father of two daughters and enjoys spending time with his family. When he's not at the warehouse, you'll probably find him riding one of his motorcycles, driving his super truck, or working on projects around his property. If there's something to build, improve, or fix, chances are Devin is already halfway through the project.
When He's Off the Clock...
You'll usually find Devin outdoors, working on his property, taking one of his motorcycles out for a ride, or finding an excuse to fire up his super truck. Around here, we like to joke that he doesn't really know how to sit still... and honestly, we wouldn't have it any other way.
Mitzi Macurak
Director of Operations
If you've called, emailed, or visited Forged Battery Supply, chances are you've already met Mitzi.
As our Director of Operations, Mitzi is the engine that keeps everything moving. From customer service and accounting to vendor relationships and day to day operations, she makes sure every detail is handled with care. Her organization, attention to detail, and commitment to our customers help keep the entire business running smoothly.
With more than 20 years of experience in project management, customer success, and business operations, Mitzi brings an incredible depth of knowledge to our team. Throughout her career, she has managed multimillion dollar client portfolios, led complex software implementations, and built lasting relationships by putting customers first.
Simply put, Forged Battery Supply wouldn't be the company it is today without Mitzi. Her experience, professionalism, and ability to keep a hundred moving pieces organized make her an invaluable part of our team and someone our customers can always count on.

Joe Holland
Battery Specialist / Delivery Driver
If you've been one of our commercial customers for very long, you've probably met Joe.
As our Battery Specialist and Delivery Driver, Joe is the friendly face delivering batteries throughout Metro Atlanta, and he's one of the biggest reasons our customers enjoy doing business with us. A lifelong Georgian, Joe knows the area well and takes pride in serving businesses throughout the communities he's called home.
Around here, we like to joke that Joe is the brawn of the operation. If it needs to be lifted, loaded, delivered, or figured out, Joe's probably already on it. Thankfully, he backs that up with an incredible work ethic, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to help every customer he meets.
Joe takes pride in being dependable, showing up when he says he will, and making sure every delivery is handled with care. He understands that great customer service doesn't stop when an order leaves the warehouse. Whether he's delivering batteries, helping a customer troubleshoot a problem, or making sure they have exactly what they need, Joe is always happy to lend a hand.
Outside of work, Joe is a devoted family man who loves spending time with his family. A true Georgia native, he also enjoys spending time outdoors, especially fishing whenever he gets the chance. Whether he's on the water or on the road, Joe appreciates the simple things in life and values time spent with the people he cares about most.
When He's Off the Clock...
You'll usually find Joe spending time with his family, casting a line out on the water, or lending a hand to someone who needs it. Around here, we're convinced there isn't much Joe can't carry... unless it's a conversation about who's catching the bigger fish.
Jesse Gann
Warehouse Manager
Jesse is the guy who makes sure the right battery gets to the right customer at the right time.
As our Warehouse Manager, he oversees inventory, shipping, receiving, installations, and helps customers find exactly what they need. Jesse has an incredible attention to detail and genuinely enjoys solving problems. Whether it's tracking down a hard to find battery or helping a customer figure out the best solution, he's always willing to jump in and help.
Before joining Forged Battery Supply, Jesse spent years as a plumber, giving him an extensive mechanical background and a knack for fixing just about anything. If it's broken, chances are Jesse can figure out how to repair it.
More importantly, Jesse is family. He's someone we trust completely, and we're incredibly fortunate to have him as part of our team. His work ethic, positive attitude, and dedication to our customers are a huge part of what makes Forged Battery Supply special.
Outside of work, Jesse enjoys riding his motorcycle, spending time tinkering around his garage, and being with his beautiful family. He's a proud dog dad, and if you ask him, his dogs are basically his kids.
